Caroline Trevithick has been nursing for the last 30 years and has had experience working in acute hospitals and in the community. She also worked for the Department of Health and the Strategic Health Authority, leading on the reduction of healthcare associated infections. More recently Caroline has developed experience as a commissioner and has been responsible for improving the quality of provider services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Caroline’s work in the CCG enables her to continue the focus on quality in provider organisations but also gives her the opportunity to develop the nursing agenda within the organisation. As the LLR lead for end of life she has taken the time to focus on the needs of our local population at this time in their lives and is working to improve the services for all patients.
